ShenHai Expressway Expansion Site, Ushered In Another Drum Cutter!

The reconstruction and expansion project of the Zhanjiang section of Shenhai Expressway started on December 18, 2019, and it has been more than two years. According to the project plan, the construction has entered the decisive stage. During the two-year construction, the Axial Drum Cutter (tunnelling driller) provided by Yichen Company played a huge role in milling and excavating the dry material of the stable layer, which greatly improved the construction efficiency.

In March 2022, in order to speed up the expansion project of the Zhanjiang section of Shenhai Expressway, the construction party cooperated with Yichen Company again, and called a YF-20R W Axial Drum Cutter for construction work on site. This Axial Drum Cutter is installed on the Carter 320 type excavator, and continues to perform edge milling and excavation on the original stable layer of the roadbed, which solves the problem that conventional equipment cannot excavate.
